Overview

RTG Conflicts Online is the online version of RTG Conflicts. It works in a Web browser. RTG Conflicts Online is included with every subscription to RTG Bills Online.

You can convert the data in RTG Conflicts on a Windows PC to RTG Conflicts Online. After the conversion you will no longer need the PC version.

Conversion requires four steps:

  1. Special conversion software is installed on the PC.

  2. The data in RTG Conflicts on the PC is converted to the proper format for RTG Conflicts Online and saved in a single file.

  3. The file is uploaded to the RTG Conflicts Online server.

  4. The file is read by RTG Conflicts Online and the data within it replaces any existing RTG Conflicts Online data.

Requirements

The program offered here is only designed to work with RTG Conflicts Version 1.07 and above. If you have a lower-numbered version, you must upgrade to V1.07. See Upgrading RTG Conflicts.

The conversion software will convert clients and other parties, matters, codes, and relationships. It will not convert searches or intake projects.

On the Supervisor Menu, click the menu item, Import PC Data under the Actions heading.

You will see the Import PC Data page. As you will see there, you must get a security code from RTG in order to proceed. Send a message to RTG requesting the code.

We will only send the security code to the email address of a Supervisor in RTG Online. Make sure that the email address you enter with your request is the email address of a Supervisor. You can edit the email address of an RTG Conflicts Online user by choosing Edit Users from the Supervisor Menu of RTG Conflicts Online.

The security code is only good for a single day. You may wish to plan ahead and ask for the code to be valid for a specific day, one or two days in the future.

Once you have the security code, enter it on the Import PC Data page. Click Begin.

After a pause, you should see the Data Load Results page. This step is only successful if no errors are reported. If errors occur here, you must fix the errors in the PC data and start again.

Click Menu to return to the Supervisor Menu.
