Q: Can a matter have more than one retainer account?

A: Yes, it can. This feature was added in RTG Bills Version 2.07.

To see the retainer accounts, edit the matter and click the Retainer tab. Click the Edit Accounts button. You will see the Select A Retainer Account window, which displays a list of the retainer accounts for this matter.

To create a new account, click the New button. You will see the Retainer Account Wizard window. Follow the instructions to create a new account.  Click the Help button at any time for an explanation of the available choices.
