You need to specify three things: Matters, Cutoff Dates, and Billing Cycles.
Here we have chosen to print All Matters.

Transactions dated up to and including the cutoff dates will appear on the bills. Normally both cutoff dates are the last day of the previous month, and RTG Bills fills in the dates for you.

Each matter has a Billing Cycle: how frequently you send a bill. If you bill all your clients monthly, you can just leave the Billing Cycles unchanged.
If you chose earlier to print a bill for one matter, you don't need to select a Billing Cycle. This makes it easy to print a single bill at any time.

Click Print and the bills will print.
If something goes wrong with the printer, or if you want another copy of the bills, it's easy to reprint the same bills.

If you find a mistake on a bill, you can cancel the bill, fix the problem, then print it again. The balance due is automatically adjusted whenever you print or cancel a bill.

Bills can be formatted in many different ways. Here we see a sample with the firm name centered and printed in the font Engravers Gothic. The rest of this bill uses the Times New Roman font. The portion shown is the bill header.

This is the body of the bill. Many variations are possible. You can omit the attorney initials (AA), the hours (1.58), or the dollar amount (276.50). You can show the hourly rate if you wish, or a fee summary by attorney.

The final portion of the bill is a Billing Summary. The simplest format is shown here. You can also show two separate columns for fees and expenses, or three columns for fees, expenses, and a total, if you wish.
