This policy describes the ways we collect, store, and use your personal information. We may amend this policy at any time by posting a revised version on our Web site. The revised version will be effective at the time we post it. In addition, if the revised version includes a substantial change, we will provide you with 30 days' prior notice by posting notice of the change on our Web site. Payment information - RTG does not store credit card or payment information. All online payments are processed by third parties. Currently, online purchases of RTG products are handled by the following companies: PayPal, BMT Micro, and RegSoft. We encourage you to read their privacy policies.

Purchase information - RTG collects the following information from its customers: name and address, telephone number, fax number, e-mail address, and products purchased. We use this information for statistical purposes, and to provide customer support, including determination of eligibility for upgrades.

Subscriber information - When you sign up for RTG Timer Online or another RTG service that requires registration, we ask you for personal information such as your name, e-mail address, and an account password. We may combine the information you submit with information from other RTG services or from purchases of RTG products in order to improve the quality of our customer service.

Cookies - Cookies are short strings of characters stored by your browser on your computer. When you visit our site, we may send one or more cookies to your browser to uniquely identify you. This allows us to retain information you enter on one page when you subsequently visit another page on our site. Cookies are also needed to keep track of items you wish to purchase (your "shopping cart").

Announcement list - From time to time, we send e-mail messages to everyone on the RTG announcement list. Usually these messages announce new versions of our products. You can remove an old e-mail address from the list ("unsubscribe"), or add a new one to the list ("join"), at any time.

Sharing information - RTG may share your personal information as necessary to comply with a court order or to cooperate with government and law enforcement officials. Otherwise, RTG does not share your personal information with third parties.

Security - Wherever your personally-identifiable information may be held within RTG or on its behalf, we intend to take reasonable and appropriate steps to protect that information from unauthorized access or disclosure. While RTG will make reasonable efforts to protect your information, no transmission of data over the Internet is 100% secure.

Accuracy - RTG wishes to maintain the accuracy of your personally-identifiable information. We provide a Contact Page where you may update or correct that information. Or you can send e-mail to the above e-mail address, or write to us at the above mailing address, with updates and corrections. Upon request we will provide customers with access to transaction information (e.g., dates on which they made purchases and the types of purchases) that we maintain about them. Customers can request this information by e-mail using the above address.

Children's privacy - In compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), our Web site is not directed to children. Accordingly, we do not intend to collect personally-identifiable information from anyone we know to be under 13 years of age.

Other sites - This Privacy Policy applies to Web sites and services that are owned and operated by RTG. We do not exercise control over the sites that you may reach by following links from within our sites and services.
