How to Turn Off the Pop-up Blocker

 
    
  Both Firefox and Internet Explorer include a pop-up blocker, which prevents a Web page from opening a new window. RTG Bills Online needs to open a new window to show PDF versions of bills and reports, so you should turn off the pop-up blocker for the RTG Bills Online Web site. This page explains how to do that.
These instructions were prepared for Firefox 3.6 and Internet Explorer 8.0. Other versions may differ. 		 
    
 
Firefox Instructions
Click Tools on the menu, then select Options....
 
    
 
On the Options window, select Content. Confirm that Enable JavaScript is checked, since this is required to use RTG Bills Online.
Most likely, Block pop-up windows will be checked. On that line, on the right side of the window, click the Exceptions button.
 
    
 
In the box for Address of web site, enter www.rtgtimer.com. Click the Allow button. That should put the address in the list below, with www.rtgtimer.com in the Site column and Allow in the Status co lumn.
Click the Close button.
 
    
  This completes the instructions for Firefox.  
    
 
Internet Explorer Instructions
Click Tools, then Pop-up Blocker, then Pop-up Blocker Settings.
 
    
 
In the box for Address of web site to allow, enter www.rtgtimer.com. Click the Add button. That should put the address in the list below.
Click the Close button.
 
    
  This completes the instructions for Internet Explorer.
