You can try RTG Conflicts absolutely free for 45 days. This is the full program, with all features available.
After 45 days, it will stop working. Before that, pay for a license and RTG will send you a license key that allows you to use RTG Conflicts with no further time limitation. All of the data you entered during the trial period will still be there.
Important Note:
If RTG Conflicts is already installed, we have separate instructions for you to follow. Please do not install a newer version of RTG Conflicts until you have read the instructions.
If your browser offers a choice, click the Save or Save File button, or choose Save this program to disk and click OK.
You may see the Save As window. To save the file conf.exe on the Desktop,
click the Desktop button, then click the Save button.
The Desktop button is along the left side of the Save As window.
Wait patiently while the file is copied across the Internet to your computer (that's what "download" means).
When the download is complete, you should see the file conf.exe on the Desktop. It may appear as conf, without the .exe extension.
Start conf.exe to install RTG Conflicts. To start it, double-click the icon. As an alternative, you can right-click the icon and choose Open.
Windows may show a warning because the installation file does not have a digital signature. As explained here, a digital signature offers no protection at all. Use your antivirus software to confirm the safety of the file.
Click Run (in XP) or Allow (in Vista) to proceed.
Follow the instructions to complete the installation.
The setup program will offer to install the programs in C:\Program Files\Rtgconf and we recommend that you accept this suggestion.
The setup program will offer to install the data in a separate location. This is required for Windows Vista compatibility, because Vista won't allow programs to store their data in the Program Files folder.
The suggested data location for Windows Vista is:
C:\ProgramData\RTG\RTG Conflicts\
and for Windows XP it is:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\RTG\RTG Conflicts\
However, on a network, the data must be in a shared folder accessible to other computers. To install the software on a network, please read the Network Installation Instructions for further details.
What to do next
When the setup program is finished, the file conf.exe is still on your Desktop. We suggest that you copy it to a removable medium and save it, in case you need to re-install RTG Conflicts. Then delete the file.
To start RTG Conflicts, double-click its icon:

Licensing the software
If you would like to continue using RTG Conflicts after the 45-day trial period, you must pay for a license. When we receive your payment, we will send you a license key. Choose Setup > Licensed User in RTG Conflicts to enter the name of the licensed user and the license key.
The license key is only good for a specific version of RTG Conflicts. If you want to upgrade to a newer version, you will need a new license key. However, upgrades from one version to the next are free for one year. See Upgrading RTG Conflicts.
Uninstalling the software
A standard uninstall program is provided, should you choose not to continue using RTG Conflicts.
The uninstall program will delete most of the RTG Conflicts files. However, it leaves files that you may have changed or created.
To see where the data files are located, choose Setup > Database in RTG Conflicts. If you do not plan to license the software, you can delete the entire folder and all the files in it.
To uninstall RTG Conflicts:
Open the Windows Control Panel.
Double-click the Add or Remove Programs icon (XP) or the Programs and Features icon (Vista).
Scroll through the list to find: RTG Conflicts V1.nn
Click this item to select it, then click the Change/Remove button (XP) or the Uninstall button (Vista). This will start the uninstall program.
