The Amazing Portal Generator is absolutely free. After you download and install it, the APG is fully functional. You can create a Web portal of your very own.

If you use the program, please register your copy with RTG. Registration is free. After you register, you'll get a registration key that eliminates the message reminding you to register each time you exit.

We recommend a PC running Windows 98 or later. However, Windows 95 should work if you install a recent version of Microsoft Internet Explorer first.

Of course, you need a connection to the Internet if you want to link to Web sites, but the "Web portal" you create could be used to link exclusively to files on your local hard disk or a local area network.

Here are detailed directions for downloading and installing the APG.

1. Click here to download the Amazing Portal Generator.
   
   Save the file rtgapg.exe on your Desktop.
   
   
2. Wait patiently while the file is copied across the Internet from our computer to your computer.
   
   
3. Double-click rtgapg.exe to install the APG.
   
   
4. Follow the instructions to complete the installation.
   
   
5. When the setup program is finished, the file rtgapg.exe is still on your Desktop. You may delete the file if you wish.
   
   
6. To start the program, double-click its icon (a spider web with the letters APG in green). Or you can click Start then All Programs > Amazing Portal Generator > Amazing Portal Generator. Read the online help to learn more about using the program.
